Peasant’s Plot

What if vampires really existed? What if all through history they had lived by being very careful to make sure humans never found out? What if not every suicide ended at the bottom of the river, and not every run-away ran of his own accord – because what if the vampires had learnt to hunt only the ones that would never be missed?

And what if a young Victorian gentleman suddenly found that he had to learn how?

Welcome to Peasant’s Plot, the home of all the Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel fan fiction by Peasant. It all revolves around the fanged four and concentrates mainly on Spike, his relationship with Angelus, Darla, and Dru, and how he learnt to be a vampire. The stories are mostly set in the nineteenth century – on the grounds that we have to live in the present day, so why spend our fantasy time there as well?

There is also a lengthy section called The Gate, home to my personal ranting, essays and elaborate if somewhat random footnotes for the stories. To see what’s new and shiny, visit Updates.

The Gate

Like all peasants, I love to lean on a gate and give unasked for advice to passers by. And since many of my stories contain facts and theories that you might want explained – come to The Gate to find out the answers. There are no spoilers for the actual stories, but if you are the sort of person who likes to be prepared then you might well want to visit here first. This is also where I give credit to the folk who have helped me with this stuff, sound off about my personal peeves, and generally chew on a straw and natter.

Disclaimer

Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel, and all the characters in them, are the property of Joss Whedon, Mutant Enemy, Twentieth Century Fox, the WB, UPN, and just about everybody else on the planet except me. I acknowledge this fully; and I promise I’m only playing with them without hope of profit. I will put them back in the box carefully when I’m done and apologise if they got a bit hurt while I was using them. But come on, they are vampires, they can probably take it.
